Clearpoint Agency collaborated with KS Promotions to produce a winning sweepstakes and promotional tour to launch the new Eddie Bauer® Sport Shop Clothing Collection. KS Promotions coordinated the sweepstakes and Clearpoint Agency managed the promotional tour, which included active displays in 16 Seattle area venues on 15 tour dates during a six-week period in 2003. The team at Clearpoint was honored with the Silver Bernays Award of Merit from the Public Relations Society of America for their successes on the tour.

Scope of work:

Event management and on-site support for Eddie Bauer Seattle Tour promotion August 15 through September 27, 2003

Recommendations for replacement venues and tour locations

Coordination and organization of venues (16 venues on 15 tour dates during 6 week period)

Liaison between venues and Eddie Bauer marketing team

Staffing tour personnel: hiring, management, training and coordination

Tracking venue attendance and distribution of promotional items and game pieces

Distributed approximately 34,000 instant win game pieces

Distributed approximately 22,000 promotional giveaways

Weekly reports to Eddie Bauer on crowds’ reaction to display, clothing, prizes, promotion and the company

Evaluated promotion against marketing objectives, reported on measurable results, and provided recommendations for future venues and promotional tours.
